Fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and problem-solving at GMRIT.
In 2022, GMRIT established and launched the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) program as per the norms of the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to systematically nurture a culture of innovation and foster a startup ecosystem within the institution.
The MHRD established MHRD's Innovation Cell (MIC) to systematically foster the culture of innovation amongst all higher education institutions (HEIs) in India. The primary mandate of MIC is to encourage, inspire and nurture young students to think of new ideas, concepts, and develop working prototypes.
